Clayton Echard, a star of The Bachelor, has addressed the letter he wrote to Susie Evans that caused her to cry and his motivation for doing so.
Clayton wrote Susie a “very wonderful message” last month, a letter that was so “deep” and “heartfelt” that it moved her to tears and made her feel appreciative of their time together, Susie recently told Us Weekly.
Clayton said that he made the decision to get in touch with Susie and express himself since things were suddenly going extremely well and he was just feeling satisfied with his life and work.
“Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me, I said to her in a message. You really made a difference in my life. On the December 14 edition of the “Bachelor Happy Hour,” Clayton said, “I also wanted her to know that again I’m sorry for the misery that I put her through, whether it was directly or indirectly “podcast.
Before Susie and Clayton made their separation official in late September, Clayton acknowledged that he had caused her a great deal of anguish.
Clayton said, “I didn’t want to upset her in so many ways.
“Sometimes it was directly due to me, and other times it was due to something I did. And I just wanted to let her know that, at the end of the day, you are an amazing person and without you, I wouldn’t be where I am now. I just wanted her to be aware of that.”
Clayton stressed the need of people owning up to their faults and accepting responsibility.
Because spreading optimism has a positive feedback loop, Clayton said, “I think people need to have those discussions and reach out and let others know how much you mean to them.”
“I’m glad that she and I still have a connection where we can communicate through text messages, check in occasionally, and laugh. At the end of the day, we are friendly and we are friends, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
