"I6 tracks no feature" - Singer Portable says as he announces release date for debut album "Ika of Africa" (Video)

The release date for Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola’s debut album, “Ika of Africa,” has been announced via social media.

The Album will be released on Friday, November 25, 2022, according to Portable, who has 1.3 million followers on the photo and video-sharing app.

In addition, he purposefully declined to include any artists on the sixteen (16) tracks that make up Portable because he felt that he could fight his own war in the face of the industry’s abundance of phony love.

Remember that in December 2021, Portable enters the Nigerian music scene with the success of his single “Zazoo Zeh,” which features Olamide and dancer Poco Lee. Since then, Portable has a reputation for consistently trending, and frequently for the wrong reasons.

Days after his Range Rover was broken into, Portable bought a brand-new Mazda. He claimed that he believes his songs would go viral and that his main objective is for people to groove and dance to them at events rather than for his music to top Nigeria’s iTunes charts.

He clarified further that for him, music is solely commercial, and that his fellow artists should only contact him for a remix.

“IKA OF AFRICA” was the caption that appeared next to the video on Portable.
