Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, a Nigerian singer better known by her stage name Bella Shmurda, has clarified the distinction between an artist and a musician.
The Vision 2020 star recently said in an interview that being a musician entails more than simply being able to sing.
Bella claimed that although celebrities like Burna Boy, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Angelique Kidjo, and himself are artists, they only follow trends and lack the ambition to produce their own songs.
He maintains that everyone who can sing may become an artist; they only lack the fundamental ability to compose music, excluding them from being considered musicians.
Bella Shmurda once talked about the poor financial choices he made earlier in his career.
The Vision 2020 actor recently remarked in an interview that he now knows better and wished he could go back in time to rectify some things.
He claimed that although he formerly had money, he hurried things rather than using it properly.
He talked about how he once spent two million naira in a single night at a club and purchased three automobiles at once so that he could always arrive in a convoy with his pals.
He claimed that because various celebrities have varying earnings, he now understands better and realizes that doing so might be risky.
He said that his days of extravagant spending were behind and that going ahead, he would carefully plan his income and make wiser financial choices.
He said, “Not on cocktails,” when asked if he could still spend two million in a single evening.
